Our Aberdeen based client is currently seeking an experienced buyer to join their team. The role will be on permanent (staff) basis and will be fully office based. ROLE The Buyer is responsible for the end-to-end procurement of materials and services to support project delivery and operational requirements. The role focuses on ensuring cost-effective sourcing, timely delivery, and strong supplier performance while maintaining compliance with company procedures and project specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES: Procurement & Sourcing: Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) Evaluate supplier quotations and prepare bid comparisons Source and procure materials efficiently and cost-effectively Negotiate pricing and commercial terms Raise and manage Purchase Orders Supplier Management & Expediting: Act as primary supplier contact Monitor supplier performance and expedite deliveries Issue order progress reports Organise Pre-Production Meetings (PPMs) Expedite supplier documentation Project & Stakehol...
