Buyer/Customs Analyst

Emerson is seeking an immediate opening for a Buyer/Customs Analyst to report to the Materials Manager. The role ensures compliance with all import/export and trade regulations, supports the buying/planning team, and fosters supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and apply systems and procedures to ensure compliance with export/import laws and regulations.
• Monitor regulatory and legislative changes and oversee product classification.
• Coordinate and prepare documentation required for export shipments.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders for products and services.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers to support sourcing, quoting and corporate initiatives.
• Maintain tariff code and country of origin classifications.
• Promote and communicate International Trade compliance within the company.
