Buyer Support position in Belcan Queretaro, México.
Full‐time, on‐site at Belcan Mexico Office with full benefits.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with planning, engineering, and production to understand demand requirements.Convert forecasts into procurement plans.Review MRP output daily or weekly as needed.Align purchase order (PO) placements with forecast changes.Manage safety stock levels for long‐lead or critical components.Issue accurate PO based on requirements and ensure terms are understood by suppliers.Create and approve POs in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, IFS).
Drive year‐over‐year cost improvement.Understand cost drivers (labor, material, logistics) to negotiate effectively.Maintain the right balance to avoid shortages without creating excess.Coordinate logistics and delivery to ensure timely and cost‐effective delivery, coordinate freight conditions, and monitor supplier shipping methods and tracking information.Risk management and problem resolution: identify risks...
