Job Details
This role supports manufacturing by ensuring parts are available to meet production schedules and that finished products are available for customer order fulfillment.
Coordinate inventory for all associated warehouse locations and material movement between warehouse and production areas.
Coordinate the supplier base and purchasing function for inventory expenditures, ensuring that the highest quality product is purchased at the most cost-effective price and consistently delivered on time in support of business requirements.
Maintain inventory levels within established budgets.
Monitor weekly material requirements through the MRP system and place purchase orders in the ERP system.
Clearly communicate to local management on supply disruptions.
Work in conjunction with production, warehouse, and engineering to ensure appropriate scheduling, procurement, and movement of materials.
