Position at Samtec, Inc Cable Process Engineering Technician (Shift: M-F, 8am-5pm)Samtec's cable engineering and manufacturing site in Wilsonville, Oregon has an opening for an experienced technician who has made similar products.The Cable Process Engineering Technician is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to develop, qualify, and optimize cable products and manufacturing processes. The role assists engineering to execute and document engineering trials and testing, develop new products and processes, evaluate existing processes, and configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability, maintain safety and develop best practices within the production process. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Run engineering trials to support process improvement, new product development and R&D projects. Execute engineering experiments, gather process data, complete process data analysis.
