Equipment Calibration Technician – responsible for managing calibrations, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing, inspection, and test equipment used in the production of medical devices. Ensures compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and ISO 17025 standards.
Location: On-site in Burnaby, BC.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the calibration lifecycle for equipment used in the manufacture and testing of a biomedical device.
- Coordinate the shipment of equipment to and from third‑party vendors.
- Identify and define calibration requirements for equipment through research and consultation with internal and external subject‑matter experts.
- Review calibration certificates for accuracy, completeness and compliance with ISO 17025 and company quality standards.
