Camp Counsellor

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Camp Counsellor located in Vaughan, ON. The Camp Counsellor will supervise and lead various recreational activities, ensure the safety and well‑being of participants, and foster an inclusive and positive environment. Responsibilities include planning and implementing activity schedules, managing group dynamics, providing first aid as needed, and maintaining open communication with participants and their families. The Camp Counsellor will also collaborate with other staff members to ensure all activities run smoothly and support the camp’s goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth engagement, activity planning, and group supervision
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
• Ability to create an inclusive, safe, and positive environment for participants
