JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Cardiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Jonesboro, GA Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Aug 05, 2026 Dec 31, 2026 Shift Schedule: Mon Fri, 8a 5p Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 14 patients/day Case Mix: General cardiology, EKG and Holter monitor interpretation FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: No JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible Licenses: Licensed in GA DEA: Active GA DEA required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Other Qualifications: Epic training must be completed prior to start Duties & Responsibilities Provide outpatient cardiology care in clinic, Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p.
