ABOUT THE ROLE
The custom millwork fabricator will:
manufacture and assemble high-quality custom architectural elements and structures
read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications
determine tolerances and test project elements
operate all woodworking machinery, finishing equipment, power tools, and hand tools
work with different materials, including solid surfaces, epoxy, metals, melamine, solid wood, wood products
perform exact measurements, ensure precise installation of hardware and other elements
perform wood finishing, sanding, staining, and applying finishes
monitor quality across the team and ensure each piece is fabricated to a high standard
plan and execute fabrication strategies; oversee and manage junior fabricators and assistants
