Job Description

A cashier is responsible for handling financial transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the checkout area. Key duties include processing purchases, answering customer inquiries, and ensuring an accurate cash register balance.

Responsibilities

Process Transactions:

• Scan items, ensure accurate pricing, and handle payments (cash, card, or digital).
• Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as necessary.

Customer Service:

• Greet and assist customers with purchases or inquiries.
• Resolve complaints or elevate to a supervisor when required.

Register Maintenance:

• Count cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts.

Education
