Catering Assistant

Overview

We're looking for a Catering Assistant to join our friendly school kitchen team and help deliver a warm, welcoming lunchtime experience for our pupils.

Hemlock Stone School in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire opened in March 2026, and caters for up to 66 pupils, providing a specialist learning environment for young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Complex Needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals to pupils and staff, including catering for special dietary needs.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
• Ensure food supplies are well‑stocked and report any shortages or issues.
