About the role As a Catering Assistant you will support the Chef in preparing and cooking meals for residents, set dining tables and maintain a clean kitchen to ensure a positive dining experience for all. 
Key responsibilities Assist with basic food preparation. 
Keep the kitchen clean and tidy, including washing up, cleaning freezers and mopping floors. 
Clean and sanitise all tableware. 
Understand residents’ needs, likes and choices to help develop suitable menus. 
Interact with residents to gather feedback on meals.
