Summary:
The Driver's primary purpose is to load, unload, and transport company equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Must be 21 years of age and licensed to operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV). CDL Class A or B Driver.
Essential Functions
Driver must be able to:
- Represent the company in an educated and professional manner
- Must have clean driving record and pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials to and from delivery vehicles by hand
- Sort equipment for loading and upon unloading
- Read work orders to determine work assignments or material needs
- Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily work tickets
- Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift equipment and guide loads, secure loads
- Guide loads being lifted to prevent swinging
