Job Description

Position Overview

Position is responsible for the administrative supervision and support of daily laboratory operations. The Charge Pathologists’ Assistant may also complete diagnostic laboratory testing and is expected to be able to fulfill the duties of a Senior Pathologists’ Assistant as needed.

Rotation / Shifts

Days and evenings, including weekends, 8 hour shifts. Rotation to other TOH campuses may be required.

Periodic travel to both the QCH and CHEO sites may be required to provide supervisory support to the Pathologists’ Assistants at these locations. EORLA reserves the right to change.

Basic Requirements

  • Certified with The Canadian Certification Council of Pathologists’ Assistants (CCCPA)
  • Minimum of six (6) years of combined experience as a Pathologists’ Assistant and/or Senior Pathologists’ Assistant, or five (5) years of experience with a Master's degree in Pathologists’ Assistant studies (or equival...
