Job Description

We are growing and require a trade qualified Chef on full-time basis. If you love working in the kitchen this is an opportunity to join a friendly team of passionate people who loves cooking and food.

As a Chef you will be responsible for managing team of kitchen staff and managing the kitchen operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
  2. Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
  3. Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians, kitchen and waiting staff
  4. Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
  5. Preparing and cooking food
  6. Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
  7. Select and train staff
