Overview
The Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience (PDN) is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Research Laboratory Technician to support the research activities of Professor Amanda Sferruzzi‑Perri's group. The Sferruzzi‑Perri Laboratory investigates how genetic and environmental factors influence fetal development, pregnancy, and long‑term health of both the mother and offspring, with a focus on the role of the placenta as a key mediator of these outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and operational leadership for the group’s expanding research programme, including hands‑on experimental work and laboratory leadership.
- Execute and support experiments using mouse models involving genetic and environmental manipulations, and a broad range of whole‑body, tissue, cellular, and molecular approaches.
