Position Overview
Subtitle Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and consistency of subtitles for video content across multiple platforms and languages. This role involves reviewing and testing subtitles to ensure they meet technical and linguistic specifications while adhering to client or company standards. Key Responsibilities
Subtitle Review and Editing:
Verify subtitle accuracy, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and adherence to style guides.
Ensure subtitles are synchronized correctly with audio and video content.
Check for appropriate line breaks, character limits, and readability standards.
Quality Control:
Identify, report, and rectify errors within subtitles that may impact viewing experience such as but not limited to missing captions, incorrect formatting, or timing discrepancies
