Job Description
Responsibilities
- Transcribe accurate choir / SATB / custom vocal ensembles from a given audio source (be able to easily distinguish various independent voices in a mix) as well as arrange a melody for multiple voices
- Create publish-ready editions as per current industry standards regarding music notation, layout, enharmonies, and rhythmic values
- Provide clean, reliable, accurate sheet music deliverables in digital format using standard music notation software
Qualifications
- At least a 100 transcriptions experience (not arrangements) involving vocals
- Be proficient with at least one of the following music notation software: Sibelius, Finale, Musescore, Dorico
- Fluent English or Spanish skills and lyric hyphenation & notation
- Strong communication and time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
