Civil and Structural Engineer

Overview

We are recruiting for a Graduate Civil and Structural Engineer (or nearing Project Engineer level with relevant experience) to join our southwest Civil & Structural Engineering team based in Plymouth.

This varied role will enable you to develop and evolve a good understanding of engineering design principles with opportunities to lead elements of design work and to have an active presence on projects to accelerate and enhance your learning.

What you need to do to be effective in this role

• Report to and take direction from Team Leads.
• Undertake outline, scheme, and detailed engineering designs as appropriate on projects.
• Carry out detailed design calculations and expand knowledge using latest design software.
• Ensure calculation packages, drawings, specifications, reports, and other deliverables for projects are to expected quality standards prior to issue.
