Sheffield City Council’s Capital Delivery Service is looking for Civil and Structural Engineers to join its in‑house multidisciplinary design team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of public‑sector capital projects, taking responsibility for civil and/or structural engineering design and inspection work, and contributing to delivery from early feasibility through to construction.
You will work alongside architects, project managers and cost consultants within a professional, consultancy-style environment, with the chance to develop your technical expertise, progress towards Chartership, and help shape projects that make a real difference to the city.

What you’ll be doing
Working within our in-house Civil and Structural Engineering team to undertake design and inspection work with limited supervision

Contributing to multidisciplinary design teams on projects across the Council’s capital programme
