Civil Design Engineer, Energy (all level)

Role Overview

The Civil Design Engineer in Aurecon’s Global Design Centre will support the ANZ Energy team in delivering safe, innovative, and sustainable civil engineering solutions across the project lifecycle. This role contributes to the transition toward low‑carbon, resilient, and future‑ready energy infrastructure that benefits communities and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Undertake concept and detailed design of large‑scale high‑voltage infrastructure, including substations, battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar and wind projects, covering earthworks, roads, drainage, and layouts.
• Develop detailed civil engineering designs, reports, technical specifications, and relevant documentation.
• Work with civil design models such as Civil 3D and 12D.
• Develop knowledge of relevant industry/client standards, guidelines, and regulations.
