Civil Designer

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed design drawings, layouts, and profiles for land development and mining infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Produce detailed design drawings, layouts, and profiles for different types of:
  • Roads
  • Underground services (such as fire protection systems, sanitary sewer systems, storm sewer systems, etc.)
  • Ponds and basins
  • Water conduits (open channels and pipe conduits)
• Possess some knowledge of soil mechanics and hydraulics.
• Perform calculations for grading, earthwork volumes, and stormwater management systems.
• Work with Project Managers, engineers, and surveyors to ensure design accuracy.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Interpret survey data, geotechnical reports, and field information to inform design.
