Claims Assistant

Job Title: Claims Assistant
Position Type: Full time, permanent
Location: Bridgend

Job Purpose

Covering core business hours between 08:00 and 18:00, you will play a key role in assisting in the day-to-day administration operations of the US Claims Department by ensuring accurate and timely completion of all allocated duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure allocated incoming work tasks are processed, maintained and validated accurately, in a timely manner and in accordance with agreed operating procedures.
  • Liaise with colleagues in a professional and courteous manner, always seeking to professionally resolve queries via telephone and email.
  • Amend claims reserves and enter payments onto the claims system.
  • Set up new claims, allocating to the appropriate adjuster.
  • Work deductible collection, diary and ad-hoc administration tasks.
