Class 3 Power Engineer

Job Description

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining a biomass boiler and 4 dry kilns. They are also responsible for performing general plant maintenance and inspections. Our mill operates 24/7 and requires working 12-hour shifts on a day/night continental rotation. Pay is issued weekly. Responsibilities

• Daily inspections to visually verify that all equipment is functioning properly around the plant.
• Small repairs requiring the use of small hand tools and preventative maintenance.
• Perform ongoing system checks and ensure they are properly logged, including checking temperature, pressure, and water levels.
• Monitor various pressures, temperatures, flow levels, sensors, and troubleshoot alarms associated with the equipment.
• Ensure general housekeeping and maintain equipment standards.
