Establish a supportive presence that promotes a variety of trauma informed interventions, practices and clinical services that cultivate safety and respect within a long-term care facility.
Provide assistance to clients with complex health and cognitive needs and/or their caregivers from various cultural backgrounds by liaising with the clinician and community services, assisting nursing staff in monitoring clients’ behaviour, and supporting the interdisciplinary team during the client care planning process.
