Job Description

Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Program Team Manager, Nephrology, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse is responsible for providing quality nursing care for patients requiring pre-dialysis management and peritoneal dialysis in the hospital and community settings (including home visits); and performing other related duties as assigned.


Experience

  • Minimum two (2) years recent Nephrology nursing experience required.

    • Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • B.N. preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Manitoba Nursing Nephrology Course is required.

    • Certification/Licensure/Registration

  • Current CRNM registration required.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association ...
