This role is categorized as on-site. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Advanced Technical Center full time.
The Role
GM China is looking for a CMF Design Intern. In this role, you will contribute to trend research, CMF concept building, proposal development, and strong visual communication. You will also help move CMF concepts from early mood boards into samples/prototypes and review-ready deliverables. You will work closely with CMF designers, exterior/interior designers, CAS, modeling, and engineering partners across the studio.
What you’ll do
Research automotive, product, and lifestyle color/material/finish trends to provide insights and strategic support for CMF direction.
Create mood boards, trend boards, CMF stories, and color & trim proposals, with clear concept narratives and compelling visual presentation.
