Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Toolmaker / CNC Machinist to join a busy, well‑established engineering workshop working across precision tooling, prototypes, and production improvements.
About the Role
You’ll be programming and operating 3–4 axis CNC milling machines, producing high‑accuracy tooling, and supporting ongoing improvement projects. The role includes a mix of CNC work, conventional machining, and occasional input into CAD/design tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- CNC programming & operation – Fusion 360 or similar
- Reading engineering drawings and machining to tight tolerances
- Using precision measuring tools
- Operating mills, lathes, grinders, and general toolroom equipment
- Tooling repairs, maintenance, and improvement work
- Following all Health & Safety requirements
