Responsibilities
- Read first and third angle drawings, process sheet, tooling, cutting knowledge, calculation trigonometry, 3D machining, 2D program execution, 3 jaws true chuck, 4 axis machine lifting techniques, API ring groove gauge, 4 axis milling, 6A API ring grooves operator inspection report.
- Job identification, log book, program backup, tolerance cutting job, threading cycles.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Mazak, FANUC, Siemens and Fadal machining centers.
- Knowledge of metal forming steel and mild steel.
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D CNC programming, Master CAM.
- Knowledge of CAM programming.
- Good machine maintenance practices.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and program accordingly.
- Excellent print reading skills.
- Familiarity with GD&T tolerances on manufacturing prints and interpreting them.
- Knowledge of API thread codes, G‑code, M‑code.
