Create CNC programs for turning operations to support production needs, including the preparation of FAT and FAI orders. Provide troubleshooting support for CNC machines, including resolving program-related issues and making adjustments when new or alternative cutters are used. Operate and work with machines such as DMG, Mori Seiki, Mazak, and systems using Fanuc and Siemens controls. Coordinate and manage cutting tools, including sourcing and ordering existing and new cutters from suppliers as required. Monitor tool room staff activities, including workload, attendance, and daily scheduling. Work closely with engineers to plan and align machining processes and methods. Coordinate with engineers to ensure tool room schedules align with project timelines and completion targets.
