Responsibilities
- Program and test cut new products and improve existing production parts.
- Prepare NC programs, including tooling design and selection, for 5-axis milling on materials ranging from aluminium, titanium to Inconel 718.
- Probe programming for error proofing, datum setting, dimension check, etc.
- Control machining cycle time within target, including all in‑machine activities such as probing, machining and appropriate cutter checks.
- Control overall machining costs, taking into consideration cycle time and cutter cost.
- Work with the MRB team for troubleshooting of non‑conformance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in 5‑axis programming using Mastercam.
- Knowledge of 5‑axis machining, macro programs, error proofing and machine codes.
- Knowledge of GD&T.
- Frequent traveling may be required for test cut in overseas subsidiaries.
