Job Description
Under the supervision of the Academic Affairs Director, the Instructor will be responsible teaching for students through hands-on projects and theory in safety, math, and other basics of Residential and Commercial Electricity.
Responsibilities
+ Provide instruction, as specified in the curriculum, in the basics of residential and commercial electricity
+ Supervise students in hands-on trades tasks
+ Provide evaluation of students’ on hands-on activities.
+ Provide testing of students’ knowledge of theory
+ Prepare curricula materials
+ Utilize varying delivery methods and media to keep students engaged with the lesson for the full class day
+ Ensure that safety, classroom and school rules are followed consistently and take appropriate measures when they are not
+ Ensure that classroom and shop areas are kept clean and orderly
+ Maintain student attendance and grade rosters
