Communication Design Engineer

The Opportunity: 

Serve as a communications design engineer in the public works branch in support of the Marine Corps. Maintain responsibility for providing expert-level technical advice on the planning and programming requirements for the design and construction of existing facilities repair and alteration projects. Assist the Basing Action Planning Team in determining the scope of work for Initial Operational Capability and Final Operational Capability projects. Perform site investigations, evaluate conditions of existing systems, and provide reports and recommendations in correcting deficiencies. Plan and direct execution of communications designs for various types of facilities including structures unique to military use that are of considerable size, complexity, and extent.
