Computer Systems Analyst I

The **Computer Systems Analyst I** provides several phases of the required systems analysis where the nature of the system is predetermined, uses established fact-finding approaches, knowledge of pertinent work processes and procedures, and familiarity with related computer programming practices, system software, and computer equipment.

**Principal Accountabilities:**

+ Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
+ Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
+ Coordinate the analysis and design of automated solutions to business problems
+ Upgrade computer software systems and correct errors to maintain system after implementation.
+ Review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
