Job Description

Our client is a leading New Zealand law firm recognised for its specialist focus on major projects and infrastructure. The team advises across all stages of project delivery, from procurement and contracting to implementation and completion.

This opportunity will suit a lawyer with front-end or “in-project” construction experience – someone who enjoys helping clients manage risk, navigate variation claims, and keep complex projects moving. The focus is non-contentious, but a balanced background including advisory support on claims and contract administration will be valued.

The work:

You’ll advise on high-value projects involving both public and private sector clients – drafting and negotiating key project documents, managing variations, and working closely with project teams to deliver practical, commercially attuned solutions.
