Consultant General Surgeon

NHS Lanarkshire – University Hospital Monklands

We are looking for a Consultant General Surgeon to be based at University Hospital Monklands within NHS Lanarkshire for a full‑time 10 PA post. The successful candidate will work closely with the present staff to accommodate general surgical service needs, have a flexible team‑based work ethic, and will participate in the emergency on‑call general surgical rota at University Hospital Monklands, which is currently undertaken on a 1 in 9 basis (including this post).

Any general surgical specialty surgical interest will be considered. Applicants should hold full GMC registration with a licence to practice.

Proposals for additional SPA time from applicants are encouraged.
