Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of Life claims associates and oversee daily operations to ensure productivity standards are met
  • Interpret and communicate contractual language in Life and Accident policies
  • Provide technical expertise to resolve complex claim issues and review high-cost claims for accuracy and compliance
  • Evaluate daily workflows in the Onbase platform and manage workload distribution
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and conceptualize technical solutions to increase unit efficiency
  • Conduct quality review audits to ensure proper coding, documentation, and regulatory compliance
  • Mentor and develop team members through regular feedback, performance appraisals, and stretch assignments
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Policy Services, Customer Service, and Legal to achieve organizational goals
