Job Description
Support Giffen Consulting's construction projects as a Contract Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer. Expertly manage the installation and troubleshooting of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
This role directly reports to the Construction Manager and collaborates with the project management team. A successful candidate will bring 5-8 years of electrical engineering experience, particularly within mining or heavy construction. Strong skills in low- and medium-voltage systems and familiarity with U.S. mining standards, including MSHA, are crucial for this position.
Key Responsibilities: • Oversee installation of MCCs, VFDs, and motor wiring • Manage technical issue resolution in the field • Review electrical schematics and equipment datasheets • Prepare RFIs and field change requests • Collaborate on system integration and commissioning
