Contract External – 0.3 PLANNING TIME. P/J DAY 2, 3, 4

Responsibilities

• Provide effective instruction, training and evaluation of pupil progress in assigned subjects.
• Manage the class or classes and maintain a ready classroom environment at least fifteen minutes before the start of morning lessons and five minutes before afternoon lessons.
• Carry out supervisory duties and instructional programs as directed by the principal.
• Collaborate with the principal and other teachers to establish consistent disciplinary practices.
• Prepare and submit teaching plans and outlines to the principal or appropriate supervisory officer on request.
• Ensure all reasonable safety procedures are carried out in courses and activities.
• Confirm that report cards are fully and properly completed and processed in accordance with Ontario standards, in English or French, and that they are signed by parents or guardians...
