Job Description
  • Leads team of Quantity Surveyors for tenders and projects
  • Preparation of construction contracts and negotiation of revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Site verifications of variations and recording for submission of claims
  • Preparation of contracts
  • Preparation of final accounts
  • Monitors the cost on all phases of planning and construction with the parties concerned
  • Works closely with the Project Manager in preparing monthly updated project progress and costing
  • Working experience in a main contractor firm is an advantage
  • Resolves problems encountered by the QS/project team, including dealing with clients and subcontractors on cost and contractual matters
  • Performs any other duties assigned by a superior
