- Leads team of Quantity Surveyors for tenders and projects
- Preparation of construction contracts and negotiation of revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Site verifications of variations and recording for submission of claims
- Preparation of contracts
- Preparation of final accounts
- Monitors the cost on all phases of planning and construction with the parties concerned
- Works closely with the Project Manager in preparing monthly updated project progress and costing
- Working experience in a main contractor firm is an advantage
- Resolves problems encountered by the QS/project team, including dealing with clients and subcontractors on cost and contractual matters
- Performs any other duties assigned by a superior
