Job Description

Overview

The C&I Technician is responsible to maintain and optimise all electrical and C&I systems in the responsible area, within budget, by managing breakdowns, processes and equipment, spares, procedures and quality files and documents. Liaise with customers . production and mechanical colleagues daily to achieve the global delivery and quality targets set by the Company for the section.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of N6 diploma, S4 or BTech in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in a metals manufacturing industry: furnaces, hot and cold rolling and or other heavy engineering industries.
  • The ideal candidate would have done programming and fault finding on Siemens PLC’s
  • The ideal candidate must have fault finding and programming/commissioning experience on AC and DC variable speed Drives (ABB / Siemens / Nidec)
