Our client, a rapidly growing private company in Halifax , is seeking an experienced Controller to join their finance team.

This role reports directly to the Director and works closely with senior leadership, as well as a dedicated and highly motivated accounting team. It combines hands‑on financial oversight with meaningful strategic input to support both current operations and future business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day accounting operations and financial reporting
• Oversee capital budgeting, forecasting, and project cost reporting
• Manage financial systems and reporting using Yardi and Jonas
• Support financial planning for large‑scale projects and upcoming initiatives
• Provide accurate, timely financial insights to support decision‑making
