Job Description

Teach qualitative research methods at Wilfrid Laurier University's Brantford campus during Winter 2027. Guide students through essential topics in criminology methodologies.
This role as a Course Instructor for CC/PD426 will engage students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am to 9:50am. You will cover qualitative research dimensions, including ethics, interviewing, and data collection techniques. Help students develop critical thinking skills necessary for evaluating research in crime and deviance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures on qualitative research methodologies
• Develop and evaluate course content and assessments
• Guide discussions on ethics and data collection methods
• Engage students in critiquing criminological research
• Facilitate a classroom environment that promotes learning
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree required; PhD preferred
• Strong background in qualitative research methodologies
