Course Overview
The organization and performance of Canada’s health care system are examined from an economist’s perspective. The course covers the system’s structure, the role of government, financing arrangements for hospital and medical services, and current financial challenges.
Teaching Responsibilities
• Teach the course on Wednesdays and Fridays, 10:05am–11:25am, from August 31, 2026 to December4, 2026. • Prepare and deliver lecture material, conduct discussions, and grade student assignments.
Qualifications
- Doctoral level study in Economics, including completed comprehensive examinations for the PhD, or a completed PhD degree in Economics.
