Cover Supervisor

Salary: Meridian Support Staff Pay Scale Grade 6 point 7 to 12

Actual Annual Salary - £19,918 to £21,574 (FTE £26,403 to £28,598)

Hours of Work: 32.5 hours per week - Monday, Thursday, Friday 8.30am-3.15pm, Tuesday 8.30am-3.45pm and Wednesday 8.15am-3.45pm

Term time plus 5 dedicated staff training days (39 weeks)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, independent and motivated Cover Supervisor to join our growing school, which opened in September 2023.

The role is to deliver effective lessons when teachers are unavailable to teach their normal lessons. The teachers plan and prepare the lesson, so you don’t have to be an expert, but it requires great flexibility, confidence and adaptability; the ability to switch between teaching maths one lesson and history the next! The successful candidate will be organised, friendly, have an excellent manner with young people, and a good sense of humour.
