Cover Supervisor

Location: Chichester Salary: NJC Grade 4, Points 5-6 Start Date: September 2026 Hours: Term time only plus INSET days, 8:30am - 3:00pm (including lunch duties)

Teaching Personnel are working with a successful 11-16 coeducational school located in the Emsworth area, graded GOOD in all areas by Ofsted. The school is seeking cover supervisors to join the team on a full-time basis from September 2026, on a temporary to permanent basis.

The Role

Cover Supervisors are key to the smooth running and effectiveness of the school. The role involves supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of a teacher, delivering pre-set work, and ensuring students remain engaged and on task. You will support students with their learning, maintain a positive classroom environment, and manage behaviour in line with school policies.
