Customs & Excise Manager UK & Ireland

The role

will support the Head of Duty to ensure the business adheres to the legislative and compliance requirements of all Customs & Excise declarations and transactional data are submitted ensuring that “Right amount is paid at the Right Time”.

You will be a subject matter expert and ensure full compliance with UK/EU customs and excise regulations for moving and producing goods into GB, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands and ROW ensuring customs duties, documentation, customs declarations are submitted correctly and all liabilities are discharged.

Key Accountabilities:

Ownership and review of the customs & excise manuals, SOPs, due diligence packs, and letters of authority.

Consolidate and report on customs & excise compliance KPIs and ensure targets are met.

Monitor and ensure changes in customs / excise legislation, are reviewed and an assessment of the impact to the business.
