Commissioning Relay Engineer – Helsinki, Finland
The Commissioning Relay Engineer is responsible for the testing, commissioning, and validation of protection relays and associated control systems within a large-scale data centre environment. This role ensures that all protection schemes operate correctly, safely, and in accordance with design specifications and industry standards
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out commissioning of protection relays and associated control systems across MV and LV electrical distribution networks
- Perform functional testing of protection schemes including overcurrent, differential, distance, and backup protection
- Conduct secondary injection testing using approved test equipment (e.g., Omicron, Megger)
- Validate relay settings against protection coordination studies and design documentation
