Job Description: 

Role Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Intern at the MCMC BlackBerry Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Cyberjaya, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between theory and practice. Your primary focus will be supporting the technology that we use at the center and will include tasks such as the development of technical training labs and maintaining our Security Operations Center (SOC) simulator to provide students with a realistic, high-impact learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Lab Development: Design, configure, and test virtualized laboratory environments using tools like Proxmox, VMware, or VirtualBox.
  • SOC Simulator Support: Help maintain the SOC simulator by updating threat scenarios, creating mock alerts, and ensuring the stability of SIEM tools like Splunk and Wazuh.
