Cycle Instructor
Temporary, Part Time
Pay: £14.15 per hour for qualified instructors; £13.30 per hour for unqualified instructors.
Location: Countywide, Essex (excluding Southend and Thurrock).
Working style: Anywhere worker.

The Role
Deliver Bikeability training courses to children across Essex, and occasionally work with adults.
Plan and organise training sessions, adhere to road safety laws, maintain a safe learning environment, and keep accurate administrative records.
Accountabilities
- Deliver training in line with National Standards and the Bikeability scheme.
- Ensure on‑road and off‑road training meets Health & Safety requirements.
- Work with children and adults in formal training settings.
- Liaise with managers and other instructors to keep sessions running on schedule.
